This year's Star of Texas Tattoo Art Revival, only Austin's second, went off pretty much the same as last year's from my perspective. There were tons of great tattoo artists in attendance, everyone was very busy creating outstanding art, and the place was totally packed with cool inked folks from all around.

I attended only on Saturday the 10th of January in the afternoon and I was there for about 4 hours. I didn't stay long enough for any contests this time due to the terrible setup for the contest last year.
Earlier that day I had the tattoo on my left calf re-inked and discussed a new tattoo - a half-sleeve for my left arm - at length with my artist Joe Kennett. Overall, this made for one needle and ink packed day. I loved it!
